James supports Science & Wisdom LIVE with their communications and marketing. He helped his brother Matt to found Mindful Design and in his role as Communications Manager works with a number of Dharma centres worldwide, working closely with the FPMT network.
James discovered Buddhism early in life, and was particularly drawn to the philosophy and the importance of ethics in society. His interest in Buddhist teachings grew during his time volunteering at Nalanda Monastery, where he deepened his understanding and practice of the Dharma. James also spent several months in India, regularly attending teachings and visiting various lamas and teachers.
James’s approach to his work is rooted in a strong belief in Universal Ethics and the significance of Universal Education, aiming to foster a global conversation that underscores compassion and wisdom beyond cultural and religious boundaries.
