Fabiana is a communications strategist who brings over ten years of project management experience to Jamyang Buddhist Centre London and Science & Wisdom Live. She has supported Jamyang London since 2012, serving as a volunteer and Communications Officer for over 6 years.
She brings varied experience in nonprofit communication, programme development, event organisation, and community and brand partnerships. She is passionate about improving human growth and dedicated to realising it with meaningful projects.
She was a research assistant for the University La Sapienza, analysing immigrant and gender representation through media storytelling. She was also a communication consultant for OuiShare, the international think tank on the sharing economy.
Previously, she worked for several years with directors, networks and brand managers in the television & film industry as an event manager and project coordinator.
Fabiana founded a trauma-informed yoga programme for the refugee and asylum-seeking communities in partnership with NHS, facilitated several community settings groups such as Horticulture Therapy Groups and Death Cafe, and earned certification as Yoga Teacher, Yoga Counselling and Mental Health First Aid England.
Fabiana graduated from La Sapienza University with a master’s degree with honours in Communication and Media Studies. She is currently pursuing a postgraduate certificate in Neuroscience, Mindfulness, and Contemplative Traditions from the University of Pisa and Lama Tzong Khapa Institute.
